FEV reinforces Diesel Powertrains Business Unit
Thomas Körfer takes over worldwide responsibility, Bernd Lindemann heads European business.
Aachen, 15 December 2014 – FEV Group Holding GmbH has restructured its Passenger Car Diesel Engines Business Unit. Thomas Körfer, previous director of the European Diesel business at FEV GmbH, has taken on worldwide responsibility for this area as Group Vice President, Passenger Car Diesel Engines. Bernd Lindemann is his successor as the EU business unit director.
"The transfer of Thomas Körfer to the FEV Group Holding GmbH allows us to optimise the global structures and processes of our Passenger Car Diesel Engines Business Unit," explains Professor Stefan Pischinger, President and CEO of the FEV Group. "Further, with Bernd Lindemann as the director of the European Diesel Business Unit, we have added expertise that puts us in an excellent position to meet current and future requirements of our European customers."
Thomas Körfer has worked for FEV since 1991 and has led the Diesel Business Unit in Europe for four years. Bernd Lindemann came to FEV in 2014 from commercial vehicle manufacturer Deutz AG. Before Deutz, Lindemann was employed by Daimler, where he played a major role in the evolution of the Bluetec diesel engines for worldwide application in passenger cars.
The development of modern concepts and technologies for diesel applications is part of the core business of the international development service provider FEV.
