FEV Announces Two Personnel Moves Aimed at Strengthening its Test Systems Business Unit

Dr. Albert Haas takes over the strategic and operational leadership of D2T Test Systems; Dr. Detlev Schöppe appointed new Group Vice President with global responsibility

Aachen – Effective October 1, 2015, Dr. Albert Haas has taken over the strategic and operational management of D2T Test Systems in France. Since the acquisition of the French test system and engineering service supplier, D2T, by FEV in April 2015, the companies have complimented each other via their common product and service portfolio. Dr. Haas will continue to drive the process of integrating the two companies, which is extremely important to the FEV Group. He has been supporting this process since spring of 2015 and, in his new position, will concentrate on this integration more extensively.

Effective October 1, 2015, Dr. Detlev Schöppe joins FEV as the Group Vice President of Test Systems. In this role he will be responsible for both the European business as well as the other global activities of the business unit. Dr. Schöppe has many years of industry experience. In various managerial positions in the automotive supply industry, he has focused, in particular, on diesel and gasoline injection systems. Most recently, he worked as the head of Engine Systems development at Continental AG.

“Filling both of these strategically important positions in our company will enable us to better serve the growing global demand for services in the field of test and instrumentation technology”, explained Professor Stefan Pischinger, President and CEO of the FEV Group. “The announced personnel changes will make a significant contribution to our global efficiency.”
