FEV appoints Dominik Lückmann as Chief Innovation Officer

Aachen, Germany, May 2026 – Dr. Dominik Lückmann has been appointed Chief Innovation Officer (CINO) of FEV, a newly created role on the executive team that reflects the company’s strategic commitment to driving innovation across the organization. In this capacity, Lückmann will also focus on translating these innovations into real-life applications for the mobility and adjacent industries.

In his new role, Dr. Dominik Lückmann will strengthen FEV’s innovation management by establishing structured processes for generating and evaluating technological advancements. He will define global innovation objectives and ensure alignment across the organization. In addition, Lückmann will develop and implement business models that translate FEV’s technological expertise into sustainable business value. He will also oversee initiatives to create new revenue streams and drive the adoption of artificial intelligence across engineering, method development, internal operations, and customer solutions.

Lückmann joined FEV in 2011 and has held several leadership roles. Most recently, he was Director of Motor, Hybrid, and Fuel Cell Powertrains, overseeing research, method development, and customer projects. He has also played a key role in advancing FEV’s AI initiative, contributing to the development and implementation of AI-based solutions across the company.
