Meet Us In Person

The Michigan Defense Expo (MDEX), co-located with AUVSI XPONENTIAL, brings together leaders across defense, autonomy, and advanced mobility at a pivotal moment for ground systems. As operational requirements evolve, the focus is shifting toward platforms that are more energy-efficient, digitally integrated, and capable of supporting increasing levels of autonomy.

FEV is proud to support this transition—working alongside industry and government partners to address the engineering challenges shaping next-generation ground vehicles.

Our capabilities include:

  • Hybrid, electric, and high-voltage (HV) propulsion and power systems
  • Operational energy management and onboard power optimization
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and simulation-led development
  • Vehicle controls, electronics, and embedded software for mission-critical applications
  • Autonomy-enabling architectures and system integration
  • Test, validation, and support for qualification and deployment

As ground platforms become more complex and interconnected, the ability to combine deep engineering expertise with system-level integration is critical—and central to how FEV delivers value.

Key areas of focus at MDEX and AUVSI XPONENTIAL:

  • Operational energy management: improving efficiency, extending range, and supporting increasing onboard power demands
  • High-voltage architectures: enabling electrification while meeting safety, reliability, and ruggedization requirements
  • Autonomy enablement: developing scalable control architectures and integrating sensors, compute, and software
  • Cross-domain technology transfer: applying proven solutions from automotive and aerospace into defense ground applications
  • System integration and validation: ensuring complex subsystems work together reliably in real-world conditions

These areas reflect a broader shift toward electrification, autonomy, and integrated system architectures as key enablers of next-generation defense mobility.
