Marseille, France, January 2023 – Established more than four decades ago as a spin-off from RWTH Aachen University, Germany, today FEV is an internationally recognized innovation leader across different sectors and industries. The company’s subsidiary FEV Consulting, an international consulting firm in the mobility, transport and energy sectors, pursues its expansion strategy by inaugurating a new office in Marseille to strengthen its presence in France and Southern Europe.

FEV Consulting, headquartered in Aachen, combines strategic management consulting skills with the technical depth and know-how of FEV Group. Founded in 2011, FEV Consulting also operates offices in Beijing, Bilbao, Cologne, Detroit, Dubai, Munich, and Tokyo.

FEV Consulting has successfully demonstrated its expertise in more than 1,000 international projects related to mobility solutions, transport, and energy. The company supports its clients in their transformation projects on various techno-strategic aspects such as digital transformation, sustainability, circular economy, future technologies pushing for CO2-neutrality, commercial growth strategies, vehicle electrification, mobility solutions for smart-cities, cost-engineering, and production planning. In-depth industry knowledge enables the development of pragmatic solutions to the most pressing and complex issues faced by today’s enterprises.

The office of FEV Consulting in Marseille, located in the historic building of the renovated Docks, will strengthen the presence in France and create a hub of consulting services with a strong technological footprint in the dynamic, southern European region.

“Following the global rebranding of the entire FEV Group, opening our new office in Marseille is a logical step forward to combine consulting services to our engineering know-how in France” said Nadim Andraos, Executive Vice President FEV France, Spain, and North Africa.

The facility in the Bouches du Rhône region represents the logic of bringing together players from the fields of (renewable) energy, mobility and transport, driving the development of sustainable technology solutions for a greater quality of life for all. Initial contacts and projects in the region have already been established, and the Marseille office aims to grow by hiring French talents to support the development of the firm’s activities.

“The opening of our Marseille office allows us to even better serve our French clients who are in need of a strong local partner that combines deep technology know-how with top management consulting skills” said Alexander Nase, Global Managing Director, FEV Consulting.

Since the founding of the company more than forty years ago, FEV has continuously promoted young professionals specialized in the fields of mechanical, automotive, software, electronics, and energy engineering. 70% of its employees have a university degree, and more than 200 patents are filed each year.
