  • Classic vehicle calibration meets the latest development methodology for the series development of hybrid vehicles. We would like to recruit you for our team!

    • Exciting tasks around the development work in the series calibration of hybrid drive control units are waiting for you
    • You will calibrate functions for the operating strategy and energy management of hybrid drives
    • As part of your tasks, you will also take part in tests on worldwide test drives in order to ensure the functions under your responsibility under all conditions
    • You will use our modern test facilities for vehicle and powertrain development (e.g. roller dyno tests) as well as highly efficient simulation-based methods and tools
    • You will ensure that your hybrid functions are also compatible with their calibration targets in collaboration with engineers for emissions, drivability and on-board diagnosis
    • You can expect a highly motivated and experienced team with development opportunities in a flexible environment of different powertrain types or topologies and vehicle types from a wide range of global manufacturers
    • The key project interface to the customers and FEV engineering teams 

    • Working closely with cross-functional engineering teams to motivate and ensure successful project delivery 

    • Generating realistic, achievable project plans and driving these through to completion 

    • Working with the Sales Team to realise opportunities  

    • Providing updates to management on the state of projects and developing action plans to resolve issues 

    • Manage the budgets, costs and forecasting cost to complete for the projects 

     

    • Design and commissioning of PLC-based safety controls for high-voltage battery test chambers and Powertrain test benches as well as their programming
    • Execution of safety acceptance tests
    • Commissioning of the interfaces of the system components to be integrated
    • Independent error analysis and troubleshooting
    • Creation and maintenance of project-related test protocols
    • Cross-Project Techincal guidance of co-workers and development of methodologies
    • Review of work-products
    • Specification of power electronics components (modules, drivers, capacitors, filters)
    • Simulation of electric power and signal ciruits
    • Concept definition of parallel connection concepts for power switches
    • Specification and conduction of component and system measurements
    • Reporting of simulation and measurement results to customers
    • Vehicle and test bench support
    • Traveling and business trips to customers abroad
    • Cross-Project Technical guidance of co-workers and development of methodologies
    • Review of work-products
    • Development of printed circuit boards for e-drive applications (Schematics and layout)
    • Selection of electronic circuits and components
    • Simulation of signal circuits
    • Commissioning and debugging of printed circuit boards and systems
    • Specification and conduction of component and system measurements
    • Reporting of simulation and measurement results to customers
    • Test bench and laboratory validation support
    • Traveling and business trips to customers abroad
    • specifies safety-related requirements for automotive ECUs, including hardware and (basic) software requirements 
    • takes over design, implementation and verification of safety relevant software components, mainly in (embedded) C
    • finds himself in the handling of suppliers in terms of timing, delivery dates, quality, etc.
    • conducts technical discussions with customers and suppliers on safety-related topics
    • defines safety-related software development processes and their implementation in the organization
    • Mechanical design in CAD systems (e.g. Pro-E, Catia V5, Siemens NX)
    • Performing various design & development tasks mainly in the field of classical, hybrid or E-powertrains in the CAD
    • Concept work, creating 3D layouts, feasibility studies, technical proposals
    • Performing package investigations, assembly feasibility and technical evaluations
    • Creating and detailing 3-D models with focus to DFM (design for manufacturing) or other latest technologies (AM)
    • Understanding and implementation of standard CAE simulation-results
    • Preparation of specification sheets for various powertrain components and systems
    • Project support with technical evaluation such as building up decision matrix, tolerance stack ups calculation, preparation of project reports, etc.
    • Very good level in technical documentation (creation of 2D drawings from 3D models) according to required project standards (ISO, DIN, EN, JIS,…)
    • Supporting of prototype-procurement and measures in QA (D-FMEA, DVP&R, PPAP), communication with suppliers and purchase department
    • You work on simulations with a focus on engine processes, develop methods and concepts with GT-SUITE
    • You work on the interactions of powertrain (hybrid powertrains), combustion engine and E-components
    • You develop future topics like: alternative fuels, hydrogen, new energy
    • You work on the layout of flow guiding components, component selection, such as engine-turbocharger matching, evaluation of different technology packages (e.g. Miller, electrically assisted turbocharging, ...)
    • You use synergies between simulation and testing
    • You assume the financial responsibility for projects / subprojects
    • Identifying opportunities for our business growth and better recognition of FEV Polska
    • Developing and implementing sales plan, strategies, initiatives to generate business opportunities in Software Department
    • Coordinating the presales and sales processes for all types of business relations: internal clients (FEV Group) and external acquisition
    • Working out effective business solutions to address customer needs
    • Owning the full sales cycle: targeting customers, building relations with customers, preparing presentation material, successfully negotiating sales contracts, maintaining sales data in a dedicated system
    • Providing clear insight into acquisition topics focusing on key facts and enabling efficient decision taking
    • Requirements development and management of powertrain systems and domain control functions for Batteries and Electric Vehicles. 
    • Creation of system layout diagrams and definition of system, subsystem and component interfaces. 
    • Development of a functional safety concept for EV Powertrain. 
    • Ownership of System Integration on Subsystem and vehicle level. 
    • Ownership of testing and validation planning, including carrying out the tests on test benches at component and vehicle level, considering national and international regulations and standards. 
    • You will be a speaking partner to our customers. 
    • You prepare and support during project meetings with the end-customer.
