FEV, Inc. Engineers Receive Research Partner Award from USCAR
FEV engineers recognized for engine and transmission benchmarking
Auburn Hills, Mich., June 1, 2012 – FEV, Inc., (FEV) a leading developer of advanced powertrain and vehicle technologies, announced today that two of its engineers, Thomas D’Anna, Supervisor, NVH & Driveline Systems; and David Gian, Chief Engineer, Vehicle Integration; received the 2011 Research Partner Award for their work in engine and transmission benchmarking from USCAR, the collaborative automotive technology company for Chrysler Group LLC, Ford Motor Company and General Motors. The announcement was made by Gary Rogers, FEV, Inc. president and CEO.
The Award was presented on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at the USCAR 2011 Recognition Luncheon held at the MSU Management Education Center in Troy, Mich.
“USCAR, in its goal to further collaboration and the development of advanced technologies for our domestic automakers, typically partners with the best minds to conduct research programs,” said Rogers. “We are truly honored that this organization, with which we have had a longstanding relationship, has chosen to recognize two of our own.”
Dave’s 10+ years of engine benchmarking management with Engine Benchmarking Group (EBG), and Tom’s transmission benchmarking experience, including the Transmission Working Group (TWG) transfer case standard development, were highlighted by USCAR for excellence in leadership, innovation, and their dedication to the power of collaboration.
