    • Development and application of the current and future requirements for Functional Safety (ISO 26262) for ePowertrain systems, e-machines, power electronics, battery and fuel cell systems and their controls 
    • Ensure compliance with the relevant safety standards

  • We offer an exciting position in the field of function development for sustainable mobility solutions of the next generation (conventional, hybrid-electric and/or hydrogen-based systems)

    • You are responsible for the function development of innovative powertrain systems using Matlab/Simulink and/or ASCET
    • You create functional requirements and are responsible for the subsequent implementation
    • You create function documentation and calibration guidelines
    • You validate functions on module level (Model in the Loop - MiL), on the Hardware-in-the-Loop test bench and in the vehicle/test carrier

  • In the role of technical officer/technical specialist, you will take on specialist responsibility for further development of a sub area of control unit function development, e.g.:

    • Energy management for hybrid powertrains 
    • Control and diagnosis of PEM fuel cells
    • Innovative control functions for combustion engines and their exhaust gas aftertreatment
    • Special field of physical control functions and numerical modeling (e.g.: AI methods)

    In the role of a project manager, you will be responsible for the management of projects in the area of control functions development for innovative powertrains - concept to series production.

    •  You coordinate with external and internal project partners
    •  You supervise acquisition and bidding processes
    •  You support in the development of processes and standard
  • As part of our team, you will actively contribute to the design and further development of our software product for multi-body simulation, which is used by our customers worldwide.

    You will work closely with experienced software developers and gain deep insights into modelling and simulation of powertrain systems in the multi-body simulation software Virtual Dynamics (MSC Adams based).

    In particular:

    - Development and programming of new models to represent powertrain components (drivelines, gearboxes, e-machines).

    - Programming of GUI and solver routines

    - Creation of software documentation and application examples

  • As part of our team, you will actively contribute to the design of our software product for multi-body simulation.

    You will work closely with experienced software developers and gain experience in maintaining and expanding the software documentation.

    You will also acquire knowledge in the creation of marketing material for new software releases.

    • Creation of electromechanical concepts and schemes for the packaging of electronic and electrical components for use in traction batteries for automotive, commercial and special applications.
    • Prototype and production design in the development of mechanical systems and components particularly relating to electronic modules, electric motors and power electronic modules.
    • Liaise with customers to agree the mechanical interface and performance details. Comply to customers' demands and standards.
    • To produce 2D drawings and detail documentation of components suitable for prototype and mass production.
    • Undertake D-FMEA and FMEA analysis of components, systems and assemblies.
    • Communicate with customer as well as supplier technical details of electromechanical system.
