  • Software-defined vehicles are transforming the automotive industry. The vehicle of the future will no longer be differentiated by mechanical characteristics, but by software related features. As a consequence, current automotive development processes and the R&D organization must be rethought. In this paper you will develop a methodology to assess the readiness for software-defined-vehicle development of companies and assess what needs in terms of processes, organizational set-up and competences.

     

     

    Your task and profile

    • Elaboration of the influence of the trend software-defined vehicles on the product development process and the development organization
    • Development of a question-based scheme to assess the "readiness" of major Automotive OEMs and suppliers
    • Preparation, execution, and discussion of the results of a survey that shall be conducted together with a professional market research institute
    • Study of Industrial, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or a related field of study

     

    • You will be responsible for liquidity management with a focus on payment approvals and short-term account management
    • You are involved in the arrangement of internal and external credit lines and their interest settlement
    • You are responsible for bank account management and setting up authorized signatories worldwide
    • You support the creation of global treasury guidelines and procedural instructions
    • You work on global financial instruments (factoring, leasing, letters of credit, guarantees, etc.)
    • You work on the standardization, description and digitalization of treasury processes

    • You take over the project and sub-project management for the powertrain function development for electric vehicles
    • You develop the requirements and the systems engineering 
  • • Responsible person for diagnosis topics in the project;

    • Define Functional Specification Requirements;

    • Specification and development of diagnostic concept;

    • Provide representation for diagnostics within technology design forums, gateway and technical reviews;

    • Diagnostics interface between development, production and after-sales;

    • Testing and ensuring the correct implementation of the diagnostic;

    • Participation in test trips/validation loops;

    • Supplier Management;

  • • Technical ownership of areas of the system design, development and / or validation of High 

    Voltage Battery Systems

    • Support technical delivery of battery and energy storage projects

    • Component and supplier management

    • Requirements review and specification

    • DVP planning, test specifications and planning, coordination

    • Interface with clients on technical issues

    • Work closely with other engineering teams (eMotor, Inverter, controls, etc)
