    We are offering a Student Assistant opportunity to support our activities to design & implement a Simulation & Test Environment for V2X use case development

    With that you would:

    • Contribute to the Development of a V2X Simulation tool-chain (i.e. traffic simulation, scenario creation, etc.) 
    • Contribute in Design, implementation and test of selected V2X use cases
  •  

    • Comprehensive HIL/MIL/SIL testing of ADAS / AD functionalities
    • Focus on camera and LIDAR based systems
    • Test object preparation
    • Test case development
    • Perform automatic tests, issue root cause analysis and report
    • Support testing framework development, extend automation level
    • Function development for battery management systems (BMS) for high- and low-voltage batteries
    • Identification and management of functional requirements
    • Interface specification, especially to hybrid control unit, charger, DCDC, IPU
    • Specification for the implementation of BMS functions in MATLAB/Simulink
    • Specification of XiL-testcases and analysis of respective test results
    • Technical guidance for startup and calibration of functions with application tools like INCA, CANape
    • Technical further development of the above-mentioned topics 
    • Technical responsibility in the project / Monitoring of technical quality in the projects
    • Technical support in the preparation of offers, presentation to customers and acquisition of new projects
    • Test bench and vehicle integration support
    • Business trips abroad
    • Development and set-up of detailed test specifications for Performance, HV, Lifetime battery tests together with test Manager
    • Test preparation including definition and organization of Hardware (fixtures, sensors, HV/LV interfaces) and of software related topics (signal input/output with the help of BMS Team)
    • Technical communication with test Center
    • Monitoring the execution of tests by test centers and providing (onside) support if necessary
    • Test data post processing and reporting
    • Requirement development of powertrain domain control functions for Electric Vehicles
    • Implementation and testing of functions in MATLAB/Simulink
    • Vehicle integration, startup and calibration
    • Design, implementation and validation of Low-level Software (embedded C, C++)
    • Hardware related software development e.g. complex device driver or peripheral driver development
    • Specification and configuration of AUTOSAR Basic Software stacks
    • Design and specification for Scheduling/Tasking, Memory handling, Diagnostics and Multicore systems.
    • Support and concept designs of safety- and security-relevant software
    • Defining, setting up and integration of tool chain and development environments
    • Performing integration activities regarding AUTOSAR BSW, RTE and Application Software 
    • On target debugging and profiling up to test development for continuous integration
    • Technical discussions with customer and/or suppliers
    • Requirements specification of control units for series production with focus on software
    • Maintenance of software tool chain (incl. make, compiler, linker)
