    • Be the central speaking partner for V2X at FEV
    • Represent FEV in international fora and conferences
    • Provide, build out and maintain a strong portfolio of technical competence
    • Act as a multiplier to disseminate V2X competence within the company
    • Evaluate and benchmark systems, architectures and solutions
    • Actively participate in conferences and trade shows
    • Pre-sales and acquisition support
    • Support project teams as technical specialist
    • Benchmarking and Analysis of electric motors 
    • Evaluation of technical specifications of electric motors
    • Support in industry and research projects
    • Independent development of electric drives in the area:

       

      • Pre-Design and electromagnetic design of electric motors (2D/3D FEM)
      • Mechanical simulation (3D-CAD, FEM/FEA) 
      • Thermal design and simulation (3D-CAD, CFD, FEM/FEA)
      • Hardware  build-up, commissioning and testing

     

  • What you will do:

    • Responsible person for diagnosis topics in the project;
    • Define Functional Specification Requirements;
    • Specification and development of diagnostic concept;
    • Provide representation for diagnostics within technology design forums, gateway and technical reviews;
    • Diagnostics interface between development, production and after-sales;
    • Testing and ensuring the correct implementation of the diagnostic;
    • Participation in test trips/validation loops;
    • Supplier Management;
    • Define and design automotive software architecture for safety-critical software in collaboration with systems and software engineers
    • Development of requirements for safety-critical embedded software systems
    • Review of requirements and software architecture for safety-critical software
    • Definition and improvement of development processes for safety-critical software
    • Definition of verification and validation activities for safety-critical software
    • Proactive handling of support activities in the context of safety-critical software development, like e.g. tool classification and qualification
    • Communication with the safety manager
    • Communication with suppliers
    • Collaborate with other software architects to manage complex embedded systems
    • Definition of test procedures, especially for electric vehicles
    • Definition of measuring equipment
    • Handling of common tools for data acquisition, especially in the vehicle
    • Analysis and documentation of measurement data
    • Customer focus including customer presentations
    • Definition of calibration targets especially for electric vehicles
    • Calibration with INCA or CANape especially for hybrid control units in the vehicle on test trips and test benches
    • Calibration label maturity tracking and dataset handling with CRETA or vCDM
    • Customer focus with report presentation to the customer
    • Design and cordinate the Software Over the Air functionality for the complete vehicle.
    • Design and cordinate the Software Over the Air functionality with potential Suppliers for each xCU.
    • Cordinate the development of Software Over the Air concepts with Central Gateway supplier.
    • Cordinate the implementaion of Security(SAE J3061) concepts applicable for Software Over the Air feature in various xCU's.
    • Technical discussion with customers and suppliers

       

    • Execution of security related testing activities within automotive software development projects
    • Setup and operation of automated testing, e.g. coding guideline checks
    • Execution of quality assurance related activities, e.g. code reviews
    • Functional verification of security related software components
    • Technical discussions with customer and suppliers of security testing related topics

       

    • Execution of security related activities within automotive software development projects, ranging from definition of security targets, risk/threat modeling, and implementation
    • Specification of security related requirements for automotive controllers, including both hardware and (basic) software related requirements
    • Design, implementation and verification of security related software components mainly using (embedded) C
    • Handling of suppliers with respect to timing, deliverables, quality etc.
    • Technical discussions with customer and suppliers of security related topics 
    • Definition of security-related software development processes and introduction of these into the organisation

       

    • Software supplier management for advanced vehicle systems including time planning, definition and quality control of deliveries of control unit suppliers
    • Technical discussion with customers and suppliers
    • Coordination of release management activities
    • Support in integration of the customer deliverables into the vehicle environment of future vehicle concepts
    • Support in Vehicle Integration activities.
    • Creating Requirement Specification for the basic software stack for automotive control units (with focus on powertrain applications) based on customer requirements
    • Design and specification of memory allocation, scheduling, multicore-specific concepts, etc.
    • Support the conceptual development of safety and security-relevant software components
