FEV strengthens global development capabilities in gasoline engine development

Dr. Henning Baumgarten assumes worldwide responsibility of FEV’s gasoline engine business unit, Dr. Johannes Scharf takes responsibility for European market

Effective immediately, Dr. Henning Baumgarten accepts responsibility for the worldwide development activities and customer projects in the field of gasoline engines as Group Vice President in the FEV Group. Dr. Johannes Scharf has succeeded him as the FEV manager responsible for the European market activities of the business unit.  With both personnel changes, FEV has strengthened this important segment of its business, keeping the company’s gasoline engine activities on a strong course of growth.  Dr. Baumgarten previously (since 2011) had responsibility for the European gasoline engine business. Dr. Scharf most recently was assigned as the head of FEV’s gasoline engine Thermodynamics department.
