FEV Japan announces Takeshi Saito as Managing Director

Tokyo/Aachen May 2022 – Takeshi Saito assumed the position as Representative and Managing Director at FEV Japan. Together with Representative Director and Sales Representative Robert Janson, Saito will further strengthen FEV Japan’s footprint in the market and continue to drive innovation towards CO2-neutral mobility in Japan.

With his extensive knowledge and insights into the industry he will contribute to FEV’s growth and business expansion side by side with Robert Janson, who has been driving FEV’s business in Japan for more than 20 years”, said Dr. Ulrich Pfahl, Chairman of the Executive Board of FEV Asia.

Before joining FEV, Saito pursued a career at Bosch Corporation and Robert Bosch GmbH for the last 20 years, where he held various positions before leading the powertrain ECU business as General Manager from 2017. With more than 10 years of management experience in the automotive industry, Saito has established a proven track record of delivering new technologies to Japanese automakers and suppliers, as well as expanding global business relations. 

Robert Janson, who has led FEV Japan since its inception in 2007, will join Saito as Representative Director, responsible for business development.
