  • We offer a thesis (Master) in the field of battery system development and circular economy to answer the following research question: "How does the new EU directive on battery recycling influence the total cost of ownership of EVs".

    The introduction of the battery passport with the compulsory disclosure of information for the battery reuse, the gradual increase in recycling efficiency for key raw materials as well as the introduction of recycled active materials poses challenges which potentially increase the cost of development, production, logistics and disposal of automotive batteries on one hand, on the other hand opens the possibility of exploiting circular lifecycles. 

    The proposed thesis, shall investigate these topics with help of case studies, which are technically and economically reasonable. The focus here is on the combination of technical specifications and economic considerations.

    • As an Enterprise Integration Architect, you establish Enterprise Integration as a service to the application owners and to our business and act as Service Owner for the Enterprise Integration platform based on Azure Integration Services.
    • In your role you are responsible for the iPaaS service architecture, strategy, and service management. This includes amongst others the service maturity and service metrics, service roadmap and managing of priorities.

    • You are responsible for the technical and organizational design management of prototype and series projects with around ten designers.
    • You control the design management for high-voltage storage batteries including the associated mechanical components.
    • You guide the senior lead designers responsible for the assembly and lead the decision-making and development management of the resulting solutions.
    • You take over the management of the design support during the prototype assembly, commissioning, testing and returns management.
    • You coordinate projects with the customer and are in close contact with the department management.
    • You will assist with presentations of project results, oversee the offer processes and help with the development of procedures and standards.
