  • You'll be placed within the battery system and safety engineering team at FEV which develops battery system solutions from cell and concept selection into series production.

    You'll have the opportunity to work on one of the most trending topics of the decade and autonomously deal with following topics:

    • Battery safety engineering in customer projects
    • Development of battery system safety concepts
    • Creation, discussion, and handling of safety requirement specifications
    • Pro-actively progress the technical safety solutions within the technical areas
    • Discussion of specific requirements and tests
    • Discussion with customers and suppliers
    • performs the reconciliation of system requirements of complex systems (e.g., driver assistance systems, highly integrated electrified powertrains, vehicle dynamics systems, infotainment environments)
    • uses his newly acquired knowledge of product requirements in UML/SysML models
    • always has the "big picture" in mind, but can also hold in-depth discussions with subject matter experts
    • can present his work results clearly and at the same time accurately
    • supports ongoing MBSE projects and drives the introduction of Systems Engineering at our customers and in our own product developments
    • can also lend a hand on site during business trips
    • You will work in the battery E/E engineering team, which develops innovative E/E concepts from prototype development to series development for next-generation battery systems.
    • You can expect varied battery projects from stationary to maritime and industrial applications with a focus on the automotive industry.
    • You calculate the electrical properties of the battery (voltage level, currents, power availability, energy, ...)
    • You review and manage electrical requirements of the battery in close consultation with the customer
    • You create layouts and circuit diagrams for the selection of electrical components of the battery
    • You take responsibility for the battery disconnect unit and the power distribution unit
    • You develop high-voltage insulation concepts and safety concepts
    • You collaborate closely with system, simulation and design development teams
    • You work in the BMS department that develops innovative BMS hardware and software from prototype development to series development
    • A variety of BMS projects await you with integration in 12V batteries, high-voltage battery systems and stationary storage systems with a focus on automotive
    • You create BMS architectures and concepts
    • You will be responsible for analysing and coordinating customer requirements with the customer and project-relevant stakeholdersYou will responsible for conducting the requirements process throughout the development lifecycle
    • You develop and analyses functional and non-functional systems, hardware and software requirements for battery management systems (BMS) (including security according to ISO26262)
    • You support the verification and validation process
    • You provide your requirements management expertise to support project planning, project reviews and quality assessments
    • You will work closely with the battery E/E, the BMS hardware and the BMS software team
    • You analyse and definate  safety requirements with the customer
    • You performe analyse methods HARA, FMEA and FTA
    • You discuss  and clarify safety related issues with customer
    • You speciface functional and technical safety concepts
    • You develope module oriented functional safety software
    • You test case development and verification of safety requirements

    • You create architecture designs for various projects and FEV in-house developments, taking into account current cloud technologies and the FEV architecture guidelines
    • You evaluate the use of technological frameworks in a structured and systematic manner
    • You stand by the business areas as a technological consultant and support them, for example, in the modernization of applications and design migration scenarios towards the cloud
    • Together with other FEV departments, you define global governance for the various technologies and platforms, communicate this and represent it to management and in the specialist teams
    • You are responsible for the tool portfolio, which is used company-wide in software development, develop it further and consolidate where necessary.
    • You regularly engage in a proactive exchange
    • Leadership and coordination of E/E Integration team focused on E/E Architecture, In Vehicle Network and Diagnostics activities;
    • Expansion and development of the existing team including resource planning and building up new competences;
    • Directs the workload of the integration team for the given programmes;
    • Represents EE in engineering and technical reviews;
    • Support technical staff in taking design decisions;
    • Ensure project clarity with all stakeholders and team members;

    • You report to the Global Team Lead Enterprise Architecture and support the introduction of Enterprise Architecture Management in the FEV group of companies
    • In addition, you support the worldwide implementation of LeanIX as FEV’s EA tool, including its connection to ITFM- and ITSM-Tools
    • You support the Global Team Lead Enterprise Architecture in governance, further development and data quality within the tool(s) and the technical guideline and framework conditions of the IT technology strategy
    • You support and coach the architects, application owner and service owner of the various IT departments to ensure that processes are adhered to and that the data in LeanIX tool is up-to date and properly aligned with the ITFM and ITSM tools
    • You support the Global Team Lead Enterprise Architecture of FEV with relevant data and visualizations, give recommendations and accompany the creation and implementation of IT services
    • You work closely with process management, application owner and service owner from various IT functions to ensure a holistic approach
  • Role description

    • Support KAM/ Sales Director in keeping a good relationship with our main customers and expand the existing business into new customers by being a door opener.
    • Being part of fully responsible for the complete sales process, including but not limited to; drafting the quotation, aligning on the content with the customer and technical specialists on FEV side.
    • Monitor the market and support the sales team on regular update of the sales strategy and resulting targets.
    • Support and actively scan the market for new opportunities to increase  FEV’s success on the Scandinavian market.
    • Actively contribute and support the further development of FEV’s strive to improve the customer relationship by e.g. improving processes and/or strategies
    • Maintaining a high professional attitude according FEV’s core value.
