  • Interest in hydrogen-powered vehicles is growing strongly. First series models are already available, other manufacturers will be following in the coming years. A major lever to increase the attractiveness of these vehicles is the establishment of a functioning hydrogen supply infrastructure.

    Mobile hydrogen filling stations could be a solution to support the infrastructure not only during the rampup phase but also in the long term. Within this master thesis it will be your task to significantly advance the concept of the mobile hydrogen station. Which technical details need to be addressed? How should the supply of hydrogen be handled? Which use cases are most attractive? And what must the business model look like to ensure long-term economic viability?

     

  • You will help setup an internal company information infrastructure, consisting of user interfaces, process automation, the data model, the database and the information analysis and visualization. We plan to utilize the Microsoft Power Suite (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI). You are free to choose your focus within this scope

  • Currently the EU-Commission is discussing the target of a 55% reduction of the CO2 emission compared to 1990. In order to reach this target mobility solution, need to be considered along the entire lifetime. Beside the operation of the vehicle CO2 emissions also arise in the material production, the vehicle production and the disposal. Within this thesis a life cycle analysis model will be buildup which enables the entire ecological analysis of different powertrain and vehicle technologies. The tools should be used for sensitivity analysis and to derive final recommendations.
