    • Evaluate and decide on appropriate project methods/tools/templates

    • Definition of regular reporting processes, preparation of regular reports and status updates

    On Board Diagnostic Design:
    • Interface to Component Owner Engineer;

    • Define Functional Specification Requirements;

    • Creation of Diagnostic Description Files;

    • Provide representation for diagnostics within technology design forums

    • Implement the definition and deployment of the next generation diagnostic description and analysis tool set;

    On Board Diagnostic Compliance:

    • Reviewing, Testing and Confirming Diagnostics Implementation;

    • Setup Diagnostic Description Data for Service Tool;

    • Ensure compliance to diagnostic specifications and requirements;

    • Releasing ECU Level Diagnostic Descriptions;

    • Issue tracking and auditing;

    Off-Board Diagnostic Tool System Functional Testing:

    • Define, coordinate, execute and analyze acceptance test procedures defined for a deployed and installed Service Tool software platform;

    • Collaborate with a Diagnostic System Unit Test and Verification Team;

    • Expose errors and design faults;

    • Create and set up a test plan;

    • Set up and create test environments (simulation and physical);

    • Build up simulation resource library by data logging and analyzing;

    • Black Box testing (application robustness, out of range, destructive, Software Performance Testing);

    • White Box Testing (according test plan);

    • End User Acceptance Testing (display, response, reaction, layout);

    • Management of test results;

    • Execution of security related activities within automotive software development projects, ranging from definition of security targets, risk/threat modeling, and implementation
    • Specification of security related requirements for automotive controllers, including both hardware and (basic) software related requirements
    • Design, implementation and verification of security related software components mainly using (embedded) C
    • Handling of suppliers with respect to timing, deliverables, quality etc.

  • Perform evaluation of the security risks on the vehicle or vehicle fleet

    Involved in development of projects lifecycle from ideation, design, coding to implementation:

    o Define requirements and select hardware for secure embedded systems

    o Design specifications of security related requirements for automotive controllers, including both hardware and (basic) software related requirements

    o Write low-level software to enable the use of security hardware

    o Work with Software Engineers to integrate security systems with FEV software infrastructure

    o Collaborate with teammates on the Cybersecurity team to design secure systems

    Develop and advise on execution of security implementations for Mobility proof-of-concepts and innovation advanced projects

     Execution of security related activities within automotive software development projects, ranging from definition of security targets, risk/threat modeling, and implementation

     Prepare presentations, document learnings, disseminate reports

  • Execution of all integration-related work including compilation/linking, flashing, integration test, on-target debugging;

    Configure and Integrate (Autosar) BSW stacks based on SW Architecture design decisions;

     Debug and propose fixing solutions for various SW related issues discovered on target ECU or configuration tool;

    Contribute to:

    •  Definition, construction and maintenance of the build tool chain;
    •  Technical discussion with customers and suppliers for integration of ECU extract files or 3rd party Application SW Components;
    •  Design and implementation of integration and “smoke” tests based on on SW Architecture design decisions
