    • You manage the "Battery System Engineering" team and provide it with technical leadership

    • You are responsible for the organization of test preparation, execution and reporting, as well as FEV internal and external test resources.
    • Design, develop, test, integrate, deploy, and maintain high-quality software applications using industry-standard programming languages, frameworks, and tools
    • Assessing and understanding the scope and use case of complex software applications
    • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications
    • Automating the whole software engineering process following the DevOps approach with a special focus on test automation
    • Conduct thorough testing and validation of software components to ensure their reliability, scalability, and security.
    • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in software engineering and proactively recommend innovative solutions
    • You manage large development projects in the field of system development and integration of electric drives during the acquisition phase ("Project manager early phase, PrEP")
    • You take over the acquisition of new projects
    • You coordinate with customers
    • You follow up on current offers
    • You are responsible for the compliance and continuous improvement of all processes relevant to product management
    • You are responsible for the calculation and evaluation of projects with regard to innovation and expandability
    • You carry out market and competition analyses as well as adaptation of the acquisition strategy

    • You take care of maintaining constant customer contact
    • You design and coordinate project approaches
    • Presenting FEV and the division-specific complete vehicle portfolio to customers, at trade conferences, trade fairs, etc. is also one of your tasks.
    • Preparing the concept of the application structure
    • Developing the application for automation system (based on industrial PC and PLC’s)
    • Prepare commissioning assignments (application) in collaboration with the Commissioning Technical Coordinator
    • Apply the commissioning FEV rules with accordance to application
    • Install automation system to control e-motor & battery / powertrain / fuel cells / combustion engine test benches at customer facilities
    • Acceptance of the product with the client according to the control and validation points defined in the specifications or the product specifications
    • Adapt your performance in terms of time, action, and travel to the contractual limits between FEV and the customer
    • Ensure the reporting of your actions to the relevant managers (Technical Coordinator and Project Manager)

    • takes over the specification of safety-related requirements for automotive ECUs, including hardware and (basic) software requirements
    • creates work products (e.g. Cybersecurity plan, TARA, Cybersecurity case…) according to ISO-21434
