    • You will fulfill exciting tasks around the development work in the series calibration of powertrain control units 
    • You will use our modern test facilities such as hardware engine or powertrain-in-the-loop test benches 
    • You develop or improve use cases for virtual calibration and virtuel testing, working closely with modeling and application experts
    • You optimize and define sequence controls for the automation of test campaigns at the HiL testbench
    • You work on application packages on XiL test benches and complete the task with vehicle tests, including test drives

    • You are responsible for the development of powertrain components
    • You will be component responsible until SOP and monitor the KPI-status regarding targets, timing, FMEA and component availability for testing
    • You will communicate and present the project progress and results
    • You will work directly within the clients IT systems / infrastructure
    • You will be handling and coordinating suppliers, clients and internal departments (CAE etc.)
    • You will create technical documentation like e.g. decision matrices and be responsible for creating presentations and presenting the status internally as well as to suppliers/customers
    • You are responsible for the development of powertrain components

    • Develop and test an automotive ePowertrain from concept design through to series production.  
    • Developing the test cases, monitor the timing, DVP&R, working with system and testing team and link the customer and FEV engineering teams 
    • Develop and review functional test cases and plans for the ePowertrain and BEV controls with multiple EDUs 
    • Organise parts, tools, rigs, DUTs and people to generate a test plan to support the program timing 
    • Monitoring and review test and validation timing, DUTs and ensure it will meet the overall project time scales 
    • Providing updates to the project team and management on the state of validation, DUTs and developing action plans to resolve issues 
    • Development and application of the current and future requirements for Functional Safety (ISO 26262) for ePowertrain systems, e-machines, power electronics, battery and fuel cell systems and their controls 
    • Ensure compliance with the relevant safety standards 
    • Create/review & maintain Item definition, Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment. 
    • Develop/review Functional Safety concept & Technical safety concept 
    • Analyse and define Safety requirements (Functional Safety requirements and Technical safety requirements) 
    • Conduct Safety analyses (FTA, FMEA, HAZOP) 
    • Leading technical discussions with suppliers & customers on Functional Safety. 
    • Performing or supporting Tool evaluation & qualification 
    • Creating the test cases for verification and validation of safety requirements. 
    • Support functional safety audits and assessments 
    • Support Functional Safety manager in development of safety plan and safety case. 
    • Test and validate e-powertrain systems and vehicle application features 
    • Specification and automation of test cases in close coordination with the function developers 
    • Execution of automated and manual tests on HiLs, PiLs and in vehicles 
    • Creation of test reports, plans, analysis of quality defects, tracking of defects found and communication to support resolution 
    • As part of our team, you will actively participate in the development of future gasoline and hybrid powertrains and support ongoing projects in mechanics development.
    • Depending on your skills and personal interests you will support us with

       

      • the modeling and simulation (FEA / CFD / MBS) of engine components and drive systems
      • the evaluation, processing and documentation of calculation results
      • the development and programming of macros
      • the measurement, documentation and analysis of mechanical components

    • Working closely with our experienced project engineers, you will gain deep insights into modeling, simulation and design of modern passenger car and large bore engines.
    • As part of a dynamic team of application engineers, you explore the challenges of state-of-the-art DeNOx solutions for diesel applications from passenger car to heavy-duty- and off-road applications
    • You work with the most advanced development tools and latest techniques to solve current challenges in LNT and SCR calibration
    • You are responsible for the planning, supervision, execution and evaluation of test series on modern engine / chassis dynamometers as well as investigations with aftertreatment models and prototypes on the road and test tracks
    • You analyze a wide range of measurements and present the results clearly in customer reports, meetings and conferences
    • You take part in worldwide test drives, from Scandinavia to Spain to South Africa, from America to Europe to Asia. 
    • You study the behavior of the system in the different climate zones under extreme conditions from -25 ° C to> 35 ° C and all imaginable heights to well over 4000 m
    • You are in contact with companies from all over the world and maintain customer contact
    • As part of a dynamic team of application engineers, you explore the challenges of state-of-the-art particle filter (GPF/DPF) solutions for applications from passenger car to heavy-duty- and off-road applications
    • You work with the most advanced development tools and latest techniques to solve current challenges in calibration
    • You are responsible for the planning, supervision, execution and evaluation of test series on modern engine / chassis dynamometers as well as investigations with aftertreatment models and prototypes on the road and test tracks
