Tasks

FEV develops high-quality software products and solutions for vehicles and powertrains that are used by customers worldwide.
The high flexibility of FEV's information management software allows the targeted adaptation to customer wishes and individual requirements. The server-based solution enables the collection, management and comparison of test data in combination with dynamic data models.
As a Software Application Specialist FLEX (m/f/d) you will take an important position at the interface between product development and user / customer. Your essential tasks include:
- Recording and analyzing customer requirements
- Configuration of the software in close cooperation with the customer
- active monitoring and support during the commissioning of the software
The work is done in close cooperation with software developers, product managers and customers.
Qualification
- Completed studies / completed apprenticeship in informatik or IT or several years of professional experience in the field of software development
- Experience with relational databases (MSSQL or MySQL)
- Previous knowledge in the area of web applications
- Programming knowledge in JAVA is an advantage
- Friendly and confident appearance towards customers
- Familiarity with tools like Confluence and Jira
- Interdisciplinary thinking and acting, independent, structured way of working, ability to work in a team, resilience and flexibility
- Very good language skills in German as well as English, both written and spoken
