Motorsports
Since 1999, FEV engineers have been actively engaged in developing and optimizing high performance racing engines with regard to power, torque, fuel consumption and many other parameters that are of interest to the racing community.
Most recently, FEV has cooperated with Scheid Motorsport, competing in the GTR-S class. The FEV racing team is responsible for engine development, engine integration and engine support services. This includes all racing activities and test drives – where FEV is responsible for the diagnosis of telemetry data which support our track-side development activities.
The FEV racing team provides the following services to its motorsports customers:
- Design and procurement
- CAD / CAE analysis
- Cooling and lubrication system optimization
- Combustion development in powertrain test cells
- Transient engine tuning
- Race and test drive support
- Engine revision
Our
FEV racing engineers have experience with many different classes of
racing from motorcycles to F1, Le Mans, Dakar and even racing engines
for large trucks (12L).
